Lola Lorne has been interested in storytelling and writing since childhood. This passion led her to pen her first fantasy novel at fourteen, and her journey into the realm of writing lyrical prose.
She has published a variety of short stories and lyrical prose since she was sixteen under different pseudonyms, and has worked in several fields ranging from student services to philosophy and Shakespeare tutor, project manager to Japanese translator. Currently, she is working on the second book in a fantasy series while on occasion dabbling in the pool of freelance editing.
Her enthusiasm for literature of all kinds prompted her to pursue her Collegial Degree in Liberal Arts at Vanier College, and was the sole graduate of her year to have completed the English Honors Portfolio. She then received her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies and Philosophy from McGill University, after which she lived abroad in Japan, in the small town of Asaka within Saitama prefecture.
